Course begins from the Pottageville Pavillion.  Course details on the 'Mapped Course' above. The routing suggested is only for those in good to excellent physical condition.  The roads used high weekend volumnes in the summer and during the latter part of rush hour. Blind hills and curves are common in this course. We are here to help you, email us at: kingtourism@sympatico.ca

King Township Sights Along This Route

The Professional tour at a relatively short distance of only 42 km,  is a major challenge. Starting from the Pottageville Park Pavilion, you will travel over the significant hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine 3 times both up and downhill, and unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately; depending on your point of view), the ride starts with an uphill ride out of Pottageville of about 2 km distance. Personally, I would recommend that cyclists contemplating this route, drive it first, so they have a good idea of what they're getting in to

Cyclists, you are invited to share your bicycling photographs which will be added to our 'Visions of King'  photo centre.  Please provide the date of your visit and if you know the locations that would be great as well.  Send your photos to: kingtourism@sympatico.ca .
